Hazrat Molana Abdul Waheed sb, the administrator of the institute and graduate from Wafaqul Madaris Al Arbia, had been observing various madaris that were full of students arrived from villages and other backward areas of the country and since his own days of studies, Molana Abdul Waheed sb had nurtured the desire of including the students of the city area which at that time was almost nil.
Hence, immediately after his own graduation, after due consultation with friends, peers and seniors, in a short span of just two years on 23rd April 1992 (1412 Hijri), the institute Idara Maarif ul Quran was established purely on the sole dependence of Allah SWT.
The inauguration of academics at the institute was done by the plentiful hands of Wakeel-e-Khatam-e-Nabuwaat, Faqeeh-e-Ummat, Molana Mohammad Yousuf Ludhyanvi Shaheed RA.
Studies were started from the building of Masjid-e-Amna. Later, with the collaboration of the sons of the late founder of the mosque, late Mubinul Haq Siddiqui, the adjoining plot of the mosque was reserved for the construction of the Madarsa. The building was inaugurated by Shaikhul Hadees Hazrat Molana Saleemullah Khan Sb President of Wafaqul Madaris Al Arbia Pakistan on 31st December 1992.
Molana Yousuf Kashmiri sb who is generally considered Mohsin-e-Madaris has been the patron of the institute since day one. He has been a regular visitor to the facility and has been advising in various dimensions continuously.
Various people have contributed immensely to the institute. These include among others, Rafiquddin Khan sb, Yousuf Iftikhar sb and Syed Mohammad Abu Iftikhar sb.
The institute continuously strives to better its educational activities and as a result of this focus, the place is now distinctly recognized among other similar educational facilities. There has been an emphasis on an excellent course-ware establishment in the institute since its very inception because we believe that the success of any educational entity is tied to the quality of the course practiced there.
Keeping this in view, the institute has included Quran Kareem Hifz & Nazira, contemporary education till Class X (Metric) and basic religious education in its academic activities. There are three basic departments each with its own system, methodology, rules and regulations and grooming techniques.
